Late Night #3
GTG x Electron
LATE NIGHT SPECIAL ELECTRON
La Salle : TANGERINE DREAM
L’Atrium : ÉTIENNE DE CRECY
Le Bar Bleu : QLONS, NUMERAL, MIRLAQI
Le Foyer : MARIE-CAROLINE HOMINAL, GROOVE’N’MOVE
From now on, Electron and the Grand Théâtre are a great love story… and of music! The Place Neuve is still vibrating with the electronic beats that shook it last year during a rather special Fête de la Musique, which is still in everyone’s memory… Let’s rejoice, Electron is reinvesting the Late Night of the Grand Théâtre this year – a seasonal interlude in the GTG’s well-ordered life – and is once again seeing things in a big way.
Would you like to see electronic projects on every floor of this Geneva institution? Well, we did it for you. And it starts with an exceptional concert by the German pioneers of the genre, Tangerine Dream, a cult band that has marked the history of electronic music with no less than a hundred albums. This event in itself will be followed by a 100% vinyl DJ set by another dinosaur of the electronic sphere, Étienne de Crecy, a cornerstone of the French Touch under the name Motorbass with his colleague Philippe Zdar. In the basement, in the sublime Bar Bleu, the controls will be entrusted to three local live electronic formations, Qlons, Mirlaqi and Numeral, while on the first floor, in the Foyer, dance will be in the spotlight, under the feet of the very talented Genevan dancer-choreographer Marie-Caroline Hominal and the Groove’n’Move festival collective.
