The direction, the staff and the Ballet du Grand Théâtre deeply deplore the passing of Mr. Philippe Cohen.
Director of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre for 19 years, Mr. Cohen passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 69, in the south of France, accompanied by his family and friends, after a determined struggle with cancer that he had declared two years ago. An enthusiastic, generous and warm personality, Philippe Cohen contributed tirelessly to the influence of the ballet, dance and, more broadly, the Geneva institution beyond its borders.
